ALAMO Software is a software house dedicated to the development, sales, and technical support of software for the transmission shop. InfoWin and TransCheck are the result of fifteen years of research and development. Brought about by the company's driven CEO, Marilou Haines and a team of hard working software professionals. It all started years ago, when Marilou, a Software Engineer for a financial institution, began writing a program for her husband Bob to use in his business. Bob owned and operated AAMCO Transmissions of Oceanside California for twenty seven years. Marilou learned all aspects of the business hands-on. While developing the software package she worked in the transmission shop creating the software tools to handle the real, everyday, needs of a successful high-volume transmission shop. The resulting program was so well honed that it became the start of a new business. ALAMO Software has been growing ever since. Eventually Bob sold his business in Oceanside and the couple moved to their vacation home in Historic Hot Springs Arkansas. Relocating ALAMO Software to the scenic lake district of the eastern Ouachita mountains. ALAMO Software now has over a thousand customers, from the biggest franchises like AAMCO, American Transmissions, Cottman, Lee Myles, and Speedy, to name a few, plus hundreds of independents in North, Central and South America. All are very pleased with the ease of use and flexibility of the program as well as the excellent customer support provided by the ALAMO software support team. Our number one priority is to insure that our customers receive the highest level of support from our staff and enjoy the use of the latest tecnology. At ALAMO Software we listen to the needs and wishes of our customer base and make good things happen... Like the ability to look-up and automatically enter any City, State, or Province just by entering the U.S. or Canadian zipcode, or the option to have Repair Orders that print-out in spanish. |
